The Tasting RoomUpon arrival at Stone Mountain Vineyards one is amazed at the impressive rustic building built into the side of the mountain. It just looks like it belongs there. Gazing beyond the building to the magnificent view to the east is absolutely breathtaking! 
Once stepping inside you are welcomed by the warmth of the pine floors and all of the beautiful woods of the tasting room. The tasting bar itself is built with old heart pine and proudly displays the many awards won by the spectacular wines made there. Cozy furniture adorns the room and invites one to sit and relax with a glass of wine. 
Walking outside onto the observation deck it is amazing how far one can see. At 1700 feet elevation Stone Mountain Vineyards is the highest elevated winery in the state and proudly boasts the most awesome view! The perfect place for a weekend picnic, lunches are available for purchase on Saturdays and Sundays, and packed lunches are always welcome as well.
