Located at 1,700 feet in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Stone Mountain Vineyards is one of Virginia’s finest boutique wineries.  Working in small lots, alongside Virginia winemaking pioneer Gabriele Rausse, Winemaker Chris Breiner is able to craft Italian styled wines of elegance that express the uniqueness of the rocky hillside vineyards.

Producing award winning Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Pinot Grigio as well as proprietary blends such as Bacon Hollow Revenuers’ Select, Stone Mountain has become a leader in Virginia wine.

The Greene County winery features a huge observation deck where, while enjoying a glass of wine, one can see four counties.  Located just 30 minutes north of Charlottesville, the winery is a great day trip from most of Virginia.  The Guesthouse at Stone Mountain Vineyards is also available for those who want to make a weekend out of their trip. Stone Mountain Vineyards (SMV) maintains a comprehensive library of high quality images available to media and the travel industry upon request. These photos may be used to accompany a feature on the Virginia Wine Industry, to illustrate a travel brochure, in a slide program, or for use on area travel/wine-related Internet sites. Client agrees to furnish one tear page or copy of publication in which the photographs appear free of charge to SMV.

SMV must specifically authorize any alteration, manipulation or derivation from the photographs in writing or by email. The photographs may not be placed in any electronic cataloging or electronic delivery service without the express written permission of SMV.

Credit line must accompany editorial use. Client agrees to identify each subject published and to credit the "Stone Mountain Vineyards, www.stonemountainvineyards.com". If images are used on a website, the website address of the credit line should have a hot link to our site www.stonemountainvineyards.com. If credit line is not given SMV will automatically bill the client $200.00 usage fee per image used.
