March 6 Stone Mountain Tasting Room Opens – Celebrate the awakening of the tasting room after its long winter’s nap.

April 25 & 26 Stone Mountain Spring Open House 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Spring is in the air!  Bring a friend and celebrate spring with our Maquillage Blush Wine! It’s been said that one sip of Maquillage (French for “makeup”) “will turn you pink from the inside out”.  Gabriele Rausse Winery will also attend as a special guest pouring selected vintages from his highly acclaimed cellar.  Cost:  $10.00 per person includes souvenir glass & light fare.

June 27 – Stone Mountain Vineyards Sunset Dinner 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
A romantic mountaintop sunset awaits you this summer. Savor food from the C&O Restaurant complementing our fine wines. Winemaker Chris Briener and special guest Gabriele Rausse will introduce each wine and explain how the wines are chosen to match each course of this gourmet meal.  Prepaid reservation required. 434.990.WINE

July 18 - Wine 101 - Swirl, Sniff and Sip.  Join Stone Mountain Vineyards Winemaker Chris Breiner and Grumpy Marketing Guy Neil Williamson as we explore the basics of winemaking and wine tasting.  Walk the vineyards, taste from deep inside the cool wine cave.  Reservations required. September 26 Stone Mountain Vineyards Harvest Dinner 7:00 – 9:30 Celebrate the Harvest of 2007. Enjoy a gourmet feast on the mountain and hear firsthand how the new vintage looks coming in from the vineyard.  Reservations required. Fee. 434.990.WINE

October 31 & November 1 9th Annual Stone Mountain Vineyards Open House 11:00 am – 5:00 p.m.  Spectacular fall colors abound from our scenic overlook. Enjoy small private tours of our wine cave, sample directly from the barrel with winemaker Chris Breiner.  Vertical tasting will also be available. Bring a picnic, spend the day up on the mountain – Stone Mountain.  No Reservations required. Fee.

November 14 Wine and Chocolate at Stone Mountain Vineyards 11am – 5pm.  Join SMV as we pair gourmet chocolates with Stone Mountain Vineyards award winning red wines.  No reservations required.  Fee.

December 13 – SMV Tasting Room closes for the season
